The Arizona Cardinals made a free agent signing on Monday afternoon prior to the official start of the free agency period. The team and veteran kicker Jay Feely agreed to terms on a deal that will keep the trusty vet under contract for at least 2014.

The news was delivered by none other than Jay Feely himself on his official Twitter account:

Financial terms of the deal were not released.

At one point last season it appeared that Feely was in danger of losing his starting job, but he showed once again that he can overcome adversity and prove to be a reliable weapon on special teams.
