The LA Kiss (yes, a team owned by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, members of rock band Kiss, as well as their manager Doc McGhee) are set to debut in the AFL this season and they’re going to be doing so by making a big fashion statement.

Uniswag showed what appear to be the new helmets for the Kiss and needless to say, they’re pretty unique.

There’s no doubt an acquired taste will be needed for the Kiss’ new lids, but they’re going big just like the band.

The photoed lids feature not only flames on what appears to be a chrome helmet, but the visor of the helmet also features flames (which just so happens to be my favorite part). Unlike the NFL where things have to be standardized under league rules, it appears the dress code in the AFL is a little more user friendly.

The helmet facemask also has a similar skin wrap as the helmet, giving the Kiss’ new helmet a pretty colorful look.

So how say you FanSided? Do you like the look? Or is it too busy for you?
