College basketball rankings: Week 19 AP poll released, Villanova moves to No. 3

The 2013-14 college basketball regular season has come to a close, and now it’s time to head into the madness of March. Before that, though, the last AP Poll of the regular season was released on Monday afternoon, and there is a new number three team in the nation in the Villanova Wildcats.

With the Big East all to themselves this year–or what was left of it at least–Jay Wright and the Wildcats finished the regular season this past week at 28-3 overall on the season, and could very well find themselves as a number one see when the NCAA Tournament bracket is released next week.
