They say a picture can be worth a thousand words.

It’s not hard to see why.

Below we have Hank, the stray dog adopted by the Milwaukee Brewers earlier this Spring sitting with a young fan as they watch the team go through a practice prior to an afternoon game.

Even better? The young boy even has his own customized ‘Hank K-9′ jersey and seemed to be in seventh heaven enjoying his afternoon of baseball with the adorable dog sitting next to him.

If the whole story of ‘Hank’ is new to you, here’s a quick backtrack.

When the Brewers arrived at their Arizona Spring Training complex, they were greeted by a stray dog.

Not looking well, members of the Brewers organization took the dog to a local veterinarian who confirmed that he had been hit by a car. Nursed back to health, the Brewers attempted to find the owner but came away unsuccessful.

That lead to the Brewers adopting the dog and naming him Hank (in honor of Hank Aaron) where he’s spent the Spring running in the sausage races, hanging with model Melanie Iglesias, beating up Chicago Cubs chew toys and spending time with his biggest fans.

Seems as if ‘Hank’ hit a rough patch, but he’s living the life now.
