The Miami Dolphins emerged as the favorite to land free agent offensive tackle Branden Albert during the NFL’s negotiation period, and while nothing can be made official until Tuesday afternoon it appears that Albert will be resuming his career in South Beach.
According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, Albert to Miami is nearly a done deal:
The #Dolphins deal with LT Branden Albert is not 100% done. But “almost” done (unofficially, of course). He’ll be a Dolphin.

Last year, the Dolphins acted quickly in free agency by signing wide receiver Mike Wallace, who was their top priority, so it comes as no surprise that they have been working to agree to terms with Albert as soon as they were capable of doing.
Miami has been linked to Albert for the past year, so it appears that they will finally get their man.
