The 2013-14 college basketball regular season has come to a close, meaning that it’s now time for the conference tournaments to get underway. As always, the ACC Tournament in Greensboro is one of the most anticipated tournaments, and this year should be no different when these teams take the court.
This year, the Virginia Cavaliers were the kings of the conference in the regular season, to the surprise of many. Head coach Tony Bennett and his crew finished that off with a huge win last weekend with a dominant win over the Syracuse Orange.
Speaking of Syracuse, they come in with the number two seed in this one after a great first season as a member of the conference. They were undefeated throughout the majority of the year, although the wheels fell off a bit near the end of the season. Still, Jim Boeheim and company could be considered the favorites.
Then, there’s always the Duke Blue Devils and North Carolina Tar Heel.
This is a deep tournament this year, by far, and here’s a look at the bracket heading into Greensboro.
