NFL Rumors: FS Jairus Byrd landing with the Dolphins is a 'smokescreen'

Buffalo Bills free safety Jairus Byrd is arguably the most coveted at his position on the free agent market. There were reports from’s Ian Rapoport that the Miami Dolphins were interested.

Now Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald is reporting that the Dolphins were using Byrd as a “smokescreen.”
