Rich Peverley update: Stars coach says he'll be okay

During the Dallas Stars game against the Colombus Blue Jackets there was an incident on the Stars bench, when players started trying to get anyone’s attention because of an incident. Stars forward Richard Peverley reportedly collapsed and required immediate attention. He was later identified by announcers who noticed his absence from the bench and it was also reported on Twitter.

Peverly had previously been diagnosed with an irregular heart beat and he had just recently returned to the line up.

The good news is there are reports that Dallas Stars head coach Lindy Ruff told the team that Peverley will be ok. The PA announcer at the American Airlines Center also said he was conscious and being taken to the hospital.
