Stars vs Blue Jackets: NHL determining whether to continue game after Rich Peverley collapses


While the Columbus Blue Jackets were taking on the Dallas Stars there were an incident that halted the game. Stars forward Rich Peverley collapsed on the bench, and was later identified by reporters and the announcers who noticed his absence on the bench.

He was attended to and rushed to a hospital, and Peverley was diagnosed with an irregular heart beat and previously had just returned to the line up.

The good news is that Peverley is conscious and headed to the hospital. Now the NHL is deciding what to do with the game and the PA announcer announced that it was delayed while they sort the situation out.

Now the NHL is trying to decide what to do,

The announcers then announced the game was postponed and will be resumed at a later date.
