The New York Jets have been quite throughout the early part of the free agency period, but they decided to make a splash about an hour into the open market by agreeing to a deal with kicker Nick Folk.

Blockbuster, right? The news comes from ESPN New York.

Folks agreed to a multi-year deal that is expected to pay him “at least” $3 million per season, which is just slightly less than he would have made under the franchise tag.
