2014 NFL free agency: Raiders, Darren McFadden agree to one-year deal

The NFL free agent market is moving swiftly and the Oakland Raiders have made an addition. After watching offensive tackle Jared Veldheer leave for the Arizona Cardinals and Lamarr Houston bolting for the Chicago Bears, Oakland has re-signed veteran running back Darren McFadden.

Adam Schefter of ESPN passed along the report:

Multiple teams were expected to show interest in the free agent running back, but the small deal shows that most of the “interest” may have just been agent speak.

McFadden is one of the first running backs to sign a new deal in free agency.

Hey I like Darren but he has to stay healthy. We did keep Valeendeer, or Jennings They are not ting in the system or the coaching staff. We lost two o the best players because of a we have played. No real player want to come to Oakland because you we no longer have a winning identity. We need to become a power team not a technical team. We need to be a tough smash mouth team.
