The Kansas City Chiefs are already expected to lose offensive tackle Branden Albert and guard/tackle Geoff Schwartz once the free agent market opens at 4 p.m. ET, but they will also be losing guard Jon Asamoah shortly after the clock strikes four.

According to a report from 95.7 The Game in San Francisco radio host John Middlekauff , Asamoah and the Atlanta Falcons already have a deal in place that will be signed as soon as legally allowed.

Everything is being described as a a “done deal” that will pay Asamoah $4.5 million a year.

On Sunday, the Falcons emerged as a strong candidate to land Asamoah and that momentum carried in to Monday and now today. Asamoah was drafted in the third-round by new Falcons assistant general manager Scott Pioli, so the connection was already there.

Before falling out of the Chiefs starting line up during the second half of 2013, Asamoah racked up 41 starts in the previous four seasons.
