2014 NFL Free Agency: Tampa Bay Buccaneers sign Brandon Myers

With the expected release of cornerback Darrelle Revis, the Tampa Buccaneers have plenty of money to spend in free agency and if their recent history is any indication, they will be willing to spend.

They’ve already agreed to a deal with former Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Michael Johnson, one of the top free agents on the market.

Now they have agreed to a deal with New York Giants’ tight end Brandon Myers.

Adam Schefter has the details.

Myers was originally selected with the 202nd overall pick in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. After four years in Oakland, the Former Iowa Hawkeye moved on to the Giants.

Myers had 522 yards and four touchdowns on 47 receptions for the Giants last season.

He has 158 receptions, 1,578 yards and eight touchdowns in his career.
