Cornerback Will Blackmon was out of the NFL in 2012. He returned for the 2013 season, catching on with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Having played well enough to breathe life back into his career, Blackmon will now return to the Jaguars for two more seasons.

On Tuesday the Jaguars re-signed Blackmon to a two-year deal. From Pro Football Talk:

"The club said Tuesday it had re-signed cornerback Will Blackmon to a two-year deal. The 29-year-old Blackmon is one of the older players on Jacksonville’s roster, which has been retooled since head coach Gus Bradley and G.M. David Caldwell were installed in 2013.”"

The Jaguars have a chance to build a tough unit on the defensive side of the ball. While signing Blackmon for two more years is not a spectacular move, it does add a quality player to the mix as they move forward.
