The Washington Wizards – assuming things stay on pace – will find themselves in the postseason for the first time since the 2007-2008 season.
Needless to say, things are going good for the Wizards – both on the floor and in the locker room.
Evidence of the tight knit bond came on Monday night as the Wizards hosted the Utah Jazz.
Veteran forward Al Harrington drove the baseline and came away with a solid dunk. Harrington thought his dunk was a little more impressive than it actually was and could be screaming towards his bench in an effort to pump the team up.
Average dunk or not, the desired result was met as multiple members of the Wizards bench stood up and applauded/cheered on Harrington, but not Marcin Gortat. No, the big man expressed his appreciation in a different way – going full on Hulk mode.
Gortat stood in front of the Wizards bench, opened his arms, poked out his chest and let out a lion-esque roar as his teammates ran down back the court.
