We are just three weeks away from the release of the next chapter in the Captain America saga, Captain America: The Winter Soldier. As of late, there has been a number of reveals that have helped build anticipation of the film’s release. There has been something practically every single day since last week.
Monday it was a new character poster, followed by a new TV Spot on Tuesday. On Wednesday, it was a character poster for none other than the Winter Soldier himself. Thursday, Marvel released a four-minute clip from the film with tons of new footage. On Friday, there was a new TV Spot and a Featurette that gave us a closer look at Black Widow. Now, as if all of that wasn’t enough, we have a new clip from the film that shows Steve Rogers’ first face to face interaction with the Winter Soldier himself.
In the clip, Steve Rogers, who is played once again by Chris Evans, demonstrates some pretty sweet parkour skills as he makes his way through, and I do mean through a building in pursuit of the Winter Soldier.
Finally, after jumping out of a window and expertly landing on the next building over, Steve throws his shield without missing a beat. Unfortunately, the Winter Soldier doesn’t miss a beat either as he easily catches the shield in one hand and sends it flying back at Cap.
Before Cap even realizes what just happened, the Winter Soldier is gone once again.
Here is a look at the latest clip from the upcoming Marvel adventure Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Joining the cast in this installation will be Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce, Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow a.k.a. Crossbones, Anthony Mackie as the Sam Wilson a.k.a. Falcon, Emily Van Camp as Agent 13, and many more.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is scheduled to be released in RealD 3D, IMAX 3D, and in Conventional Theaters on April 4, 2014.
