The Cleveland Browns need to get better in 2014 and they can’t suffer another losing season. It’s clear that the team recognizes this though, as in the last 24 hours they’ve been linked to three of the top free agents set to hit the market this afternoon. While Donte Whitner and Karlos Dansby targets on defense, the Browns are targeting wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders as an offensive upgrade.
According to Jason La Canfora from CBSSports.com, Cleveland is very much in on Sanders and are expected to make a run at him when free agency opens.
With Andre Roberts now a Redskin, as @MikeJonesWaPo reported, Browns will be in on PIT WR Emmanuel Sanders as underneath guy

Sanders would be a massive improvement for the Browns, and a bit of a middle finger from both parties towards the Steelers. The AFC North rivals don’t have a lot of love between the two and Sanders getting dropped by the Steelers may be motivation to burn them as part of a revival in Cleveland.
