NFL Rumors: Giants close to re-signing CB Trumaine McBride

The New York Giants are expected to re-sign cornerback Trumaine McBride according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.
From his article for the New York Daily News:
"The Giants are also close to re-signing cornerback Trumaine McBride and kicker Josh Brown and both of those deals could be done today."
I can also confirm that CB Trumaine McBride's deal is for two years, $3.1 million. Should be signed later today. #NYG

Not a big splash signing, but sometimes it is important to keep those role players who are familiar with and already installed in your system. The Giants have roughly $24 million in cap space and could be really active today.
So you can now put the Giants in the neighborhood of $24 million in cap space, I believe.
