The Tampa Bay Buccaneers appear to be ready to make moves in free agency and that means they’re going to bust out the checkbook for a third offseason. After spending big in 2012 and 2013, the Buccaneers are looking at 2014 with a positive light and are chasing free agent defensive end Michael Johnson.
According to CBSSports insider Jason La Canfora, the Bucs could double up on Bengals free gent talent by adding left tackle Anthony Collins as well.
Bucs will be active in free agency, and are frontrunners for DL Michael Johnson (over $8M/year). Also strong push for T Anthony Collins

With Darrelle Revis on hi way out, the Buccaneers will have some extra cash to spend and plan on targeting Johnson to anchor a song defensive line. He’d be oppose Adrian Clayborn and on the same line as Gerald McCoy and very well could be a part of a defensive revival in Tampa Bay.
The Bucs of the old Lovie Smith era were defensive minded and Bucs of the current Lovie Smith era look poised to emulate that greatness.
