2014 NFL Free Agency: Tennessee Titans agree to terms with Al Woods

The Tennessee Titans have been reportedly involved with several big name free agents and have already made some noise by signing the versatile Dexter McCluster and re-signing kick return specialist Leon Washington.

Now, the Titans have made some noise on the other side of the ball.

According to Gerry Dulac of The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, former Pittsburgh Steelers’ defensive tackle Al Woods has agreed to terms with the Titans.

A report surfaced earlier in the week that the two sides had agreed and that wasn’t the case, so Dulac confirmed his report.

Woods was selected with the 123rd overall pick in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He spent his first season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and appeared in nine games. A year later, he landed with the Seattle Seahawks and played in just two games. He found a home with the Steelers, appearing in 28 games over the last two seasons, including all 16 last year.

Woods had 16 tackles and two sacks for the Steelers in 2013.
