The Pac-12 conference arguably was the deepest in college basketball this season with eight teams with at least 19 wins this season, including the Arizona Wildcats who coasted to the regular season title with a 28-3 record overall and a No. 1 seed waiting for them in the NCAA Tournament.

Arizona is the favorite to win the Pac-12 tournament, but their top competition may come from the UCLA Bruins who finished in second place during the regular season and the Arizona State Sun Devils who beat their in-state rival earlier this season.

The Stanford Cardinal and California Bears need a good showing in the tournament to put the conference in position to make history. If they win at least one game in the tournament they should be in the NCAA Tournament along with the aforementioned three teams and the Colorado Buffaloes and last year’s tournament champion the Oregon Ducks to give the conference seven in the Big Dance for the first time in league history.
