For those of you who have been pining to see Mike Francesa, his scowl, and his Diet Coke on television again, your wait is almost over (or should we say “ovah!”). After months of speculation, the WFAN Sports Pope has officially announced that his show will now be simulcast on Fox Sports 1 and 2.

The show will debut on Monday March 24, with the first three hours of the show being carried on FS1 from 1 to 4 p.m., and then Fox Sports 2 will carry the final two hours. Francesa’s deal is for four years. Financial terms have not been disclosed.

Francesa told the N.Y. Daily News, “We did have more than one offer, but clearly the Fox Sports people were most aggressive,” He said the deal was completed on Monday.

The abrasive but popular talk show host has been with out a television audience since the Yankees Entertainment & Sports Network decided to drop Francesa after a nearly 12-year simulcast run.
