NFL Free agency Rumors: Ryan Clark may miss meeting with Redskins due to traffic

The Washington Redskins are supposed to meet with free agent safety Ryan Clark today but that’s a meeting that might be delayed for the time being. It’s not because Clark is pondering another contract or anything like that, rather he’s stuck in traffic and may miss his flight to Washington.

Clark tweeted about his dilemma earlier on Wednesday:

The swipe at the Redskins was interesting, as it may not have even been a swipe at all. The thing to take away from this is that Clark is on the Redskins radar and could end up in their defense this season.

His flight may never come back either, so Washington could miss out on a player thanks to Connecticut traffic. It’s unlikely that this will play a factor in his signing or not signing with the Redskins, but Clark’s free agency trip just slowed way down thanks to non-football related influence.
