The Tampa Bay Buccaneers always seem to be dreadfully awful during the season but they’re typically the talk of the offseason each year. That started in 2012 when they signed big name free agents, continued in 2013 and remains in 2014 as they not only load up on free agents again but are shopping Darrelle Revis.
Part of why they were the talk of football last offseason was thanks to their trading for Revis, but they’re ready to move on a year later. Revis isn’t going to let the Buccaneers control his future though, as he’s reportedly refusing to lower his $16 million per season salary if traded, saying that you either trade for his salary or take a chance in free agency.
On Darrelle Revis, yes, the #Patriots have been among those who have called to express interest in a trade. Doesn’t plan to take a pay cut.

Other teams that are in on Revis are the Eagles, Browns, Falcons and Giants but there doesn’t seem to be a trade ready to go just yet.
Either way, pay cut or not, the Buccaneers will need to trade or cut Revis by 4pm ET Wednesday which means a decision is coming shortly.
