Thursday night, the Houston Rockets traveled to take on the Chicago Bulls in a battle of two, playoff-bound teams that is sure to be nothing short of an amazing contest. But when you have two good teams battling it out like this, the intensity gets amped up just a bit, and that’s what the Bulls’ Mike Dunleavy found out early on.
Right after the second quarter got underway, Dunleavy was trying to draw the charge in the lane, when he got banged up in the face pretty hard, resulting in a nasty cut that quickly became bloody.
After laying on the ground for a few minutes, Dunleavy was able to get up and get to the bench. Unfortunately, the cut would require 10 stitches to mend.
