While the market for cornerbacks isn’t that outstanding, especially with Darrelle Revis getting signed in less than five hours, there is still talent to be had with free agent cornerbacks, although one of them has just come off the market.
After making some waves with the Miami Dolphins, cornerback Nolan Carroll has reached an agreement with the Philadelphia Eagles and will be playing football there in 2014.
And now the Eagles have reached agreement with former Dolphins CB Nolan Carroll. Philly moving and shaking.

The move comes less than an hour after the Eagles acquired Darren Sproles from the New Orleans Saints. Carroll’s move isn’t being completely overshadowed by the Sproles news, but it’s certainly not the headline.
Still, it’s a smart signing by the Eagles who were rumored to be in the running for Revis when he was available. They ultimately didn’t make a move for him, and while Carroll isn’t equal to signing Revis, he’s not at all a bad pickup for Philly.
