Rutgers and Washington announce home-and-home series

If you’ve always wanted to know if a Scarlet Knight could wallop a Husky in a fight, you’ll find out the answer in 2016.

Okay, so that’s a bit misleading (and unfortunately so, because the smart money would be on the fluffy canine and I could use some extra cash). However, you will be able to watch Rutgers and Washington meet on the football field, which is pretty much just as exciting. (It isn’t, but whatever.)

The first game of the two school’s home-and-home series will take place in Seattle on Sept. 3, 2016. Rutgers will then host Washington on Sept. 2, 2017. The two teams have never met on the gridiron before, so, uh, you better be excited. You better pace yourself with regards to that excitement, though, because you have over 900 days to go until this news is actually relevant.
