The Denver Broncos signed away future Hall of Fame defensive end DeMarcus Ware from the Dallas Cowboys. During his time in Texas he wore the No. 94 uniform, but that number is already being worn by defensive lineman Terrance Knighton. Ware joked that he’d try to buy the number from Knighton with a pot roast, from the Broncos’ website:

"“I’ll probably give him a pot roast if I can get it from him,” Ware joked, referencing Knighton’s ‘Pot Roast’ nickname. “At the end of the day, I don’t know. We’ll talk about it. But that if that’s what he’s comfortable with, that’s what he’s comfortable with. I’m willing to change. So we’ll work around it.”"

The whole tweet reads: “I have enough respect for the game and it’s history and the men that the best to ever do it. Giving my #94 away is an honor to me.” He had joked on Wednesday that the 94 jersey was going to cost, but apparently he has changed his tune. That or Ware got him a sizable gift certificate to Honey Baked Hams.
