The search for a new team is over for Hakeem Nicks as he tries to find a new place to play, as the former New York Giants wide receiver has agreed to a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts.

Nicks had stated during the free agency period that he would be willing to take a one-year deal from anyone, just for the sake of proving that his knee and foot issues are behind him, and he’s ready to return to his rookie form.

With the issues, causing a drop in production, the Giants were said to be shopping Nicks during the year last season, but they couldn’t find a partner by the time the trade deadline hit.

If he is truly back to form, then Colts QB Andrew Luck would be getting a versatile weapon to play with. Plus, Nicks will go into Indianapolis with little pressure on him for this one season, having both a returning Reggie Wayne and T.Y. Hilton on his side as well.
