2014 SEC Tournament: South Carolina vs. Tennessee live stream, start time, TV info and more

It’s Friday during championship week in college hoops, and the SEC Tournament presses on with four games of quarterfinal action. In the second game of the day, the upstart South Carolina Gamecocks look for their third consecutive upset win as they take on the well-rested Tennessee Volunteers.

The aforementioned Gamecocks have needed to knock off two higher rated teams thus far, as USC dispatched of Auburn and Arkansas on the way to the quarterfinals. This is especially surprising given that they entered the SEC Tournament with a 5-13 record, and to be honest, no one is giving them much of a shot against Tennessee. South Carolina does have one strength in that they are among the nation’s best at crashing the offensive boards, and perhaps they can translate that into easy baskets.

Tennessee is a classic case of a team who is highly rated in metrics but wildly inconsistent. The Vols received the “double bye” to the quarterfinals, so they have the advantage of being well-rested against an almost certainly tired South Carolina team, but to be fair, all the Vols need to do is play their “normal” game, and it should be a runaway victory.

Here’s how you can watch all the action on Friday:

Date: March 14

Start Time: 3:00 PM ET

Location: Atlanta, GA

Arena: Georgia Dome

TV Info: ESPNU
