Darren Sproles is now officially a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, and photo evidence has been provided to make sure that fans in Philly know they’re not dreaming. Somehow the Eagles were able to steal Sproles from the Saints for just a fifth-round pick, as New Orleans peculiar idea of a trash player is clearly a treasure for the Eagles.

The Saints didn’t want Sproles, the running back didn’t want to be traded but now that he’s in Philly, it appears that he isn’t going to be leaving anytime soon. Sproles inked a two-year extension with the Eagles on Friday and showed off his brand new uniform for the media.

Why the Saints thought it was a good idea to dump Sproles will puzzle many, but the Eagles have him and won’t be letting him go. He’s already settled in after less than 48 hours of being traded and that new N. 43 Eagles jersey is a sight that fans in Philly still can’t believe they’re seeing.
