John Daly shoots 90 at Valspar Championship

John Daly’s round at the Valspar Championship on Friday is one he’d probably like to forget.

The legendary golfer looked more like an average duffer, recording a 12 on the par-4 16th hole on his way to an overall score of 90.

Yes, 90. You read that right.

Despite it being the worst round of his professional career — beating out by one stroke his round at the 2008 British Open — Daly was in good spirits afterwards, joking with reporters about the disastrous 16th hole:

No surprisingly, Daly was inundated with a slew of insults on Twitter. He responded by politely referring to all his critics as “jerks.”
