The Tennessee Titans have a lot of questions to answer this offseason, with the situation at quarterback being one of them. Jake Locker appears to be safe, at least in terms of a roster spot being there for him in 2014, but the same cannot be said for Ryan Fitzpatrick.
According to Titans beat writer Jim Wyatt, Tennessee is expected to release Fitzpatrick this afternoon in what seems like a move motivated by the signing of Charlie Whitehusrt .

Fitzpatrick earned a giant contract after a good first half of a season with the Buffalo Bills a few years back but he never really did anything special and was let go not long after. He landed in Tennessee where he was a serviceable backup, but again wasn’t anything special.
He will likely find work somewhere and may compete for a starting job in places like Houston, Oakland and possibly even Minnesota. With Fitzpatrick now on the market, the quarterback pool has gotten a little bigger but still isn’t anything to jump through a flaming hoop for.
