The Miami Dolphins are finalizing a deal to sign former St. Louis Rams and Tennessee Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan, according to Albert Breer.
Word is that Finnegan’s deal in Miami is worth $11 million over two years, or close to that.

Finnegan was released after his second year in St. Louis after injuries limited him to seven games and five starts, but his production, or lack thereof, was a bigger reason for his release as he only had one interception and 27 combined tackles.
His first season in St. Louis suggested that perhaps the Titans made a mistake parting ways with him after the first six years of his career when he had 101 combined tackles and three interceptions, his highest total since he had five in 2009.
Finnegan has long been one of the best agitators in the NFL and if he can revert to the form he showed in 2012, he should be a valuable asset to the Dolphins secondary.
