Just yesterday, we showed you a brand new image from the upcoming mutant adventure X-Men: Days of Future Past that was released by Total Film. Now, the magazine has released two new images of the cover to their latest issue which features four of the stars from the upcoming film.
The issue, which is on newsstands today, comes in two distinct covers. The first of them features both the present and past version of Professor X, or as he was known back in the day, Charles Xavier. Patrick Stewart looks very brooding, dressed in all black as if he is prepared for war. On the other hand, the much younger version of him, which is played in the film by James McAvoy looks like he is prepared for some sort of business meeting.
The second cover features the exact opposite; a picture of Magneto and his younger counterpart who was once known as Erik Lehnsherr. Unlike Xavier, there really is no light and dark side to Magneto. Considering all of the horrific things that he has seen in his life, it is no wonder that his personality is a little darker than normal. The older version of himself, which is played in the film by Ian McKellen, is dressed in all black with a long black cape. The younger version, played in the film by Michael Fassbender, is dressed very similarly; however, he is wearing a rather encompassing helmet, presumably to keep out the likes of Xavier.
Here is a look at the two new covers of this month’s issue of Total Film Magazine.
The film combines the X-Men we came to know and love in the original trilogy and brings them together with the younger version we were introduced to in X-Men: First Class. X-Men: Days of Future Past brings together Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry,Ian McKellen, and Patrick Stewart with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender,Jennifer Lawrence, Shawn Ashmore, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Evan Peters, and many more.
X-Men: Days of Future Past is scheduled to be released on May 23, 2014.
