This weekend the UFC will enter a new era at Welterweight as Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler battle for the vacant UFC Welterweight title at UFC 171. This will be the first time in nearly eight years that the undisputed Welterweight title will be on the line without Georges St-Pierre fighting for the belt.
In the co-main event, former interim Welterweight champion Carlos Condit takes on Tyron Woodley in a what many believed to be a #1 contender’s bout for the Welterweight championship. Dana White has nixed those rumors, saying that no one is guaranteed anything, and the fighters must perform in order to earn a title shot.
Today, the fighters hit the scales and made their bouts official. Hendricks missed weight on his first attempt and will have to make it in one hour in order to make sure the title fight is on. Check out the full results below.
