For the first time since 1994, the Virginia Cavaliers will be advancing to the finals of the ACC Tournament as the regular season champs were able to hold off a valiant effort from the Pittsburgh Panthers on Saturday, 51-48.

With time running down and up by three, Virginia head coach Tony Bennett put the game in the hands of his defense, and they stepped up, as they blocked a potential game-tying three-point attempt to seal away the win.

The Cavaliers got the best effort from a player on the bench as Anthony Gill dropped in 10 points and added in five rebounds, while Joe Harris led the team in scoring with 12 points and four rebounds.

Yet another example of the complete team effort that these guys can produce, and it paid dividends again.

Now, the regular season kings will await the winner of the Duke Blue Devils and N.C. State Wolfpack contest which will get underway shortly.

Either way, someone is going to have their hands full on Sunday with this team.
