The Denver Broncos have made some serious moves in free agency in 2014. They’ve grabbed themselves a top-notch wide receiver, a shutdown cornerback, and the league’s premiere pass rusher. But, that still doesn’t mean that they’re not going to address some needs in the NFL Draft, and according to Charley Casserly of the NFL Network, getting UCLA’s Xavier Su’a Filo on the offensive line may be one direction they’ll go.

"“They need a big, strong guy inside,” Casserly said on NFL Network’s “Path to the Draft”. “Xavier Su’a-Filo. Yes, that’s right the UCLA guy. To me, he’s got Pro Bowl potential. He’s strong enough to knock people off the ball but he’s athletic enough to get to linebackers and cut on the backside. In pass protection, he’s big enough to anchor but quick enough to slide side-to-side to pick up stunts.”"

Although Peyton Manning barely hits the ground during the regular season, he was harassed to no end during the blowout loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 48, so a little, young help up front certainly won’t hurt at all.

Making the moves they did at some of the more glamorous positions during free agency definitely leaves them open to taking a young, big man to groom.
