Two years ago, if you were asked whether or not TCU Horned Frogs QB Casey Pachall could be one of the top quarterbacks in the 2014 NFL Draft, you probably would have said yes without hesitation. However, off-the-field issues and injury woes have derailed those plans, and as Gil Brandt of the NFL Network points out, that could possibly cost Pachall the chance of being drafted at all.

"Pachall has had some off-the-field problems that cost him a greater part of his junior year in 2012, and last year he was also hurt. But I think he has upside, and teams will work him out. Where he lands in the draft is anyone’s guess — he could be a fourth-round pick or he could be an undrafted free agent."

Pachall returned to TCU last season after spending nearly a year dealing with substance abuse issues, but he struggled to get back into true form. Then, a broken hand completely tore his 2014 return campaign apart.

But, the good news is that there’s still time for him to prove himself. If he can come back from all he came back from before, he can certainly work hard enough to show an NFL team that he’s worthy, whether he’s drafted or not.
