2014 SEC Tournament: Florida Gators, Kentucky Wildcats set to square off in title game

The championship game for the 2014 SEC Tournament is set, and the top two seeds will be squaring off as the top-ranked Florida Gators will be taking on the Kentucky Wildcats inside the Georgia Dome on Sunday.

On Saturday, the Gators survived–albeit narrowly–a scare from the physical, gritty Tennessee Volunteers to get the win and advance to Sunday’s final game. After being behind at the half, the Gators found their second gear in the final 20 minutes to walk away with the win and the chance to sweep both conference titles.

Kentucky cruised their way to an easy 70-58 win on Saturday over the Georgia Bulldogs. Stud freshman Julius Randle finished with a double-double yet again, his 20th of the season.

For as well as Kentucky is playing, though, they’re going to have to exorcise a demon in this game by beating the Gators to capture the SEC championship. In both meetings between the squads this year, the Gators walked away with the victory both times, once by 10 points and then a blowout victory last weekend.

Who do you think gets the win in this one? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments section below.
