Rick Pitino believes his AAC Champion Louisville Cardinals should be the fourth No. 1 seed

Just a short time ago, Rick Pitino and his Louisville Cardinals got done taking care of business in the inaugural American Athletic Conference Tournament, doing away with the UConn Huskies in rather easy fashion. You could make a strong argument that the defending national champions, right now, are playing better than anyone in the country. Because of this, Pitino firmly believes that he and his team sh0uld get the final number one seed.

As it stands right now, the Arizona Wildcats, Wichita State Shockers and Florida Gators should be all but locks, however that fourth spot could be up for grabs.

With the way they’ve played down the stretch, there’s no question that Pitino–whether you like him or not–is absolutely correct. They should go into the NCAA Tournament this week to defend their crown as the top-seed in their region.
