Rodger Saffold had a fat free agent contract coming hi way form the Oakland Raiders but he’ll never see that money. According to Raiders doctors, Saffold’s injured shoulder was cause for concern and they backed out of the contract, sending the tackle back to St. Louis on a five year deal.

Saffold’s shoulder was the reason he didn’t get his giant free agent contract from the Raiders, but he’s not buying it. While he’s not accusing the Raiders of anything, the left tackle invited the St. Louis media into the Rams weight room if they had any doubts about his shoulder.

Per St. Louis Today:

"“My shoulder feels great,” Saffold said Friday. “And if you (reporters) have any more questions, you guys can come into the weight room. I’ll be with Rock on Tuesday.”"

The theme this offseason has been scorned lovers looking for revenge this upcoming season. From Justin Tuck and Steve Smith getting pushed away by their old teams, to Saffold getting pouched away by his new team, there are going to be a lot of motivated players in 2014 and Saffold is already showing that off with his open invite to watch him work out his shoulder.
