The first bout on the UFC 171 main card is between two Light Heavyweight prospects making their UFC PPV debuts.Former Heavyweight, Nikita Krylov, takes his first fight at Light Heavyweight on short notice against StrikeForce veteran, Ovince St. Preux.

St. Preux (14-5, 2-0 UFC) has looked very impressive as of late. Since losing to Gegard Mousasi back in StrikeForce in 2011, OSP has won three straight including two wins inside the Octagon. OSP was originally scheduled to face Thiago Silva tonight, but Silva was arrested and subsequently released from the promotion.

After word spread that Silva was out of the fight, Krylov immediately took to Twitter to offer his services against OSP and the UFC obliged. After losing his UFC debut to Soa Palelei, Krylov (16-3, 1-1 UFC) rebounded with a highlight reel KO over Heavyweight Walt Harris in 25 seconds at UFC on FOX 10. Tonight he fights at 205 for the first time, and is ready to make a statement to the division.

Round 1: They touch gloves to start. Krylov misses an outside leg kick and another. Now he lands a leg kick and body kick. Kick to the body and takedown from OSP. OSP right into side control. OSP gets crucifix position momentarily. Krylov is out cold, but it did not even look like he was being choked. Rogan is calling it a Von Flue choke. OSP basically choked out Krylov with his shoulder. What an incredible choke and finish from OSP.

Official Decision: Ovince St. Preux defeats Nikita Krylov by Submission Round 1 (1:29)
