The NFL future of kick returner Devin Hester is actually a lot brighter than it has seemed lately. While he’s been contacted by teams, the future Hall of Famer remains unsigned and is one of many skill players still without a job this offseason.
According to Hester, that’s going to change soon. Speaking to the Palm Beach Post, Hester says he has at many as 13 teams have interested in signing him, with the Miami Dolphins being one of them.
Devin Hester could end up in a Miami Dolphins uniform by the summer.
The free agent wide receiver and kick returner, who spent eight years with the Chicago Bears before parting ways this month, said the Dolphins are one of 13 teams that have expressed interest in signing him.
We knew yesterday that the Dolphins had interest in Hester, but so far no contractual details have emerged out of anywhere. Before free agency opened, the Giants, Chiefs, Eagles, Buccaneers and others had interest in Hester and it’s unclear if they’re among the 13 teams Hester is referring to.
