So what can a Super Bowl winning quarterback who is the idol of millions and who can write his own ticket anywhere he likes do in the offseason? Baseball spring training? Eh…Russell Wilson has been there, done that. How about filming a cameo appearance on the set of a major motion picture?
I’d take that.
So will Wilson, apparently.
From FoxSports.com, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback is all set to make his big screen debut in the upcoming 2015 release of the Entourage movie, based on the hit HBO series.
Star in both the series and the movie, Jeremy Piven posted a photo with Wilson on the set of the film this week on his Instagram account.
Wilson now has numerous endorsement deals, and has been working the talk show circuit since his Seahawks annihilated the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII.
The show was known for cameo appearances by famous personalities, who generally played themselves. It would seem odd that they’d break tradition with Wilson.
Unless, of course, they have him ready to play Aqualad (Yeah, if you didn’t follow the show, you won’t get that)
The film is slated for a Summer 2015 release.
