Gerald Green came off of the bench to score 28 points, leading the Phoenix Suns to a 121-113 victory over the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario on Sunday afternoon.
It was a huge victory for the Suns, who are one game behind the Dallas Mavericks and Memphis Grizzlies for the seventh/eighth seed in the Western Conference.
Green scored his 28 points on nine-of-18 shooting in just 27 minutes and added five rebounds and two assists.
Goran Dragic scored 19 points and dished out four assists and Eric Bledsoe, playing in his third game since returning from a knee injury, scored 14 points on two-of-five shooting from the field and went a perfect 10-of-10 from the free throw line.
The Suns entered the fourth quarter with a six-point lead and quickly extended it to 15. The Raptors, however, used a 12-5 run to get back in the game, but they could never cut the lead to less than seven.
Kyle Lowry had a huge game for the Raptors, finishing with 28 points, 13 assists and five rebounds. Terrence Ross scored 22 and Amir Johnson added 20.
The Suns are now 38-28 and the Raptors are 37-28.
