One of the top players still on the free agent market is cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who has received plenty of interest from around the league. One team who remains very interested in Rodgers-Cromartie is the New York Jets, who reportedly want to sign the former Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals cornerback “badly.”

The news comes from Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

With Rodgers-Cromartie’s speed and ability to man up for press coverage, there is no doubt he would be a big addition for the Jets secondary.

Of course, the Jets have some competition from the New York Giants if they plan to sign him.
