Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay was arrested on Monday morning for drunk driving and possessing a controlled substance at the time of his arrest. The behavior of Irsay has apparently alerted those within the Colts organization, as the owner represents the team he owns and Irsay’s wild style has apparently caught up to him.
His mug shot was released shortly after his arrest, and while some are joking about his plight, the mug shot shows a portrait of a man with serious problems.
They say that money leads to happiness, but clearly it leads to other things as well. We can’t speculate as to what led Irsay to drink and drive or possess a controlled substance but it’s clear that he’s strggling with some demons. He may be the owner of one of the most prestigious professional sports teams in the world, but that doesn’t mean your life is perfect.
Irsay’s motives for what he did are unknown, but his plight is something that is concerning more than just those close to him.
