The New York Giants were dormant for most of free agency up to this point, but Monday has brought a pair of signing that should make fans happy. After adding cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, the Giants have agreed to terms with kick returner and wide receiver Tridon Holliday.

The move fills a giant need for New York, as they had one of the worst return games in football last year and that didn’t help an already hindered offense. Holliday has shown flashes of being the next Devin Hester, although that’s a massive comparison to make.

It’s relatively accurate though, as he’s always a danger to take one to the house and it a threat that special teams coaches would rather avoid if they have the choice. Holliday is a weapon, and considering how lackluster the Giants were as a whole in 2013, his addition is greatly needed.
