It would seem as if the cast to the upcoming action film is filling out quite nicely. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Ciaran Hinds has been brought on to join the cast of the upcoming follow-up to the 2007 film Hitman entitled Agent 47.
At this point, it is unknown what role the actor will be playing in the film, as that information is being kept under pretty tight wraps.
The film, which is based off of the popular video game from Square-Enix, already boasts a pretty decent cast of characters. Rupert Friend, who some of you will recognize as Peter Quinn from the Showtime Original Series Homeland, will be taking up the role of Agent 47.
Most recently, Thomas Kretschmann, who was also recently cast as Baron Wolfgang von Strucker in the upcoming Marvel epic Avengers: Age of Ultron, was added to the film as one of the villains; however, the primary villain in the film will be played by Star Trek Into Darkness stars Zachary Quinto.
Agent 47 also stars Betrayal actress Hannah Ware, Sons of Anarchy star Emilio Rivera, and many more.
The film is set to be directed by Aleksander Bach. The screenplay has been developed by Skip Woods, who wrote the screenplay for the original Hitman film, along with Kyle Ward, who developed the script for Machete Kills, and Mike Finch, who worked on the script for Predators.
At this time, there is still no official release date for the film.
